This new paper leather material was created to replaces faux polyurethane leather & animal leather as part of our mission towards more sustainable business pracitises and facilitationg the need for more eco-friendly options. This material is made with plant-based paper, with FSC sourced wood from sustainable forests, and mixed with a cotton fabric to create a lightweight and water resistant synthetic leather. Printed with a water based ink, once the material or product has reached the end of its life, the paper leather is fully biodegradable with soil.
Our made to order process takes 2-3 business days to print and get ready for shippment. Please note that express shipping does not mean express production and our orders are printed in the order that they are received.
Once applied when pealing off the skin could damage the surface of the skin so it is unlikely you can reuse it.
We suggest not taking off the sticky backing until you are certain of the placement. Then peel and place on. Is it a bit off? No worries, don't press down on the skin until you are 100% happy with placement and you can lift off gently to re-adjust. Once you love the spot it's in, press down (gently!) and the skin will adhear to the MacBook or laptop.
We've tested this — not to fret. It's safe to use on your power adapter, even if it gets warm.
The laptop skin is meant to be decorative so we don't suggest you use as a form of protection for any of your devices.
No devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets, Apple Watches, laptops etc.) other than The Dairy branded products are covered by our warranty.
