From the artist: This artwork explores memories, some sharply recalled as if occurring only yesterday, and others fading with time. On each side is a representation of the two worlds in which the artist Ryhia resided during her formative years: an upbringing on the Gold Coast of Queensland with her father's family, and another on the Barkly Tablelands of the Northern Territory with her mum’s family, both experiences imbued with love, sorrow, knowledge, and growth.
