Which iPhone 18 Pro colour could you be?

Colour rumours are the fun part of any iPhone launch, and this year's crop is genuinely interesting. Several outlets are now reporting the same colour lineup for iPhone 18 Pro, and one of the names made us do a double take, because we've been making cases in that exact shade for a while now.

What's actually rumoured

Worth saying: none of this is Apple-confirmed. It's what several credible sources are reporting, so treat it as likely rather than certain.. The lineup getting the most corroboration: Dark Cherry (the new hero colour, reportedly replacing iPhone 17 Pro's Cosmic Orange), Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver. Macworld's exclusive look describes Dark Cherry as a deep, wine-like red, and MacRumors has been tracking the same four colours since April. There's also a construction change doing the rounds: Apple may be dropping the two-tone glass-and-aluminium look from iPhone 17 Pro for a single, more seamless finish across the back.

Dark Cherry: the one everyone's talking about

Here's the bit that actually surprised us. We checked, and The Dairy already ranks near the top of search for "cherry phone case." We weren't chasing this rumour. We'd already been making cases in a cherry-adjacent palette before it became the rumoured hero colour of the year. If Dark Cherry is real, our red phone cases are already sitting in roughly the right lane, tonal reds, deep colour, nothing shy about it.

If Light Blue lands instead

Light Blue is the other name that keeps coming up, and it's a genuinely different mood: calmer, cooler, more considered. Our blue collection leans into that same energy, so if this is the one Apple actually ships, you'll have somewhere to start.

Dark Gray and Silver, the softer options

We'll be straight with you here: we don't have a case that matches these two precisely, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Our black and white collection is the closest thing we've got right now, muted, monochrome, understated, but it's not a direct match. If Dark Gray or Silver end up being the colours that actually ship, that's a genuine gap in the range, not a rebrand of something we already had.

Where The Dairy stands

We don't know which of these four Apple actually goes with, and neither does anyone else outside Cupertino. What we do know: whichever colour lands, we'll be designing around it, the same way we always have. Join the waitlist and you'll be first to see what we make of it.
